Can't Wait for The Atlantis Revelation?,
This review is from: The Atlantis Legacy (Paperback)
If you loved The Atlantis Prophecy but missed the original Raising Atlantis adventure, you'll find both together in The Atlantis Legacy. The larger format makes for easy beach reading, and there's also a preview of the first two chapters of upcoming The Atlantis Revelation, which is the new title everybody is waiting for. But the publisher should clarify this on Amazon and put up the cover for The Atlantis Revelation. It's too easy to mistake Legacy for Revelation. I bought Legacy as a collector.

Caution, nothing new,
By D. Lary (Centreville, MD United States) - See all my reviews

I purchased this book thinking it was the next installment in the series. Instead it is nothing but a marketing ploy to sell you a repackaged version of the first two novels with a new title.

Two for the Price of One,
This review is from: The Atlantis Legacy (Paperback)
If you've missed the first two installments of Thomas Greanais' Atlantis books, this huge paperback combines both thrillers into one action packed novel.
I won't rehash what I wrote in my reviews of the two individual books but I can tell you I loved Raising Atlantis while I was a bit disappointed with Atlantis Prophecy. While the former is filled with Atlantean mysteries and musty dusty discoveries, the latter lacked originality. Both are filled with action and suspense. You'll have fun, just leave some of common sense at the door and think of them like a popcorn summer movie. Sure, some (if not all) is not plausible but its fun to wonder what if! I also bought this thinking (as we're supposed to think) that it is the newest book. This is the first two books repackaged with a different title. Even the Amazon "frequently bought together" algorithm propogates the deception by including "Raising Atlantis" (one of the included novels) as something else that you should buy. This is disgraceful.

The Best of Both Worlds,

This review is from: The Atlantis Legacy (Paperback)
In The Atlantis Legacy, Thomas Greanias brings together the first two chapters in his Atlantis Series. The two stand in stark contrast to each other; Raising Atlantis takes place over the course of several hours as the protagonists explore what may be the ruins of Atlantis deep beneath the southern polar ice, while The Atlantis Prophecy stretches out over four days set against the backdrop of Washington DC. The two novels are more of a study in the contrasts between Atlantis legends than a dovetailed pair, but this was, for me the charm of having them together in one massive volume. If you haven't read either of these books, this limited edition is well worth your time and money, but read fast, the Atlantis Revelation is almost here.

If you like history, science, action and thrillers this is a good book to read. I can't wait until the third book in this series comes out in September.

Huh?,
This review is from: The Atlantis Legacy (Paperback)
I paid 99 cents for this book secondhand and still feel ripped off.
Greanias makes Dan Brown look like an historian and storyteller of the highest caliber. Enough said.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Atlantis Legacy (Kindle Edition)
There is nothing new here.
The stories are dull and boring. The first is barely readable and the second presents close to none interest. I have finished it as I don't like to leave a book unfinished but I deleted it from the Kindle right after having read the last word. Don't bother with it.

The Atlantis Legacy,
By Reader4life (NC, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Atlantis Legacy (Paperback)
I bought this thinking it would be like the first 2 books in this trilogy. The first 2 books were fast paced, action packed from the first page to the last page. I could not put them down once I started reading these books and it only took 2 or 3 days to read them. This book had none of the wonder and suspense and thrill that comes from the name of ATLANTIS. After the success of the first 2 books it's like there wasn't any real effort put into it and he knew that his fans would buy it whether it was good or bad. It was a big disappointment and will be the last book I buy from this author.
