Book Description

June 24, 2002
There was a time when a continent called Atlantis still lay between Europe and America. This portion of the world’s surface was at one time land; this land now forms the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. Plato alluded to the last remaining remnant of that lost continent when he sopke of the Island of Poseidon. Countless publications are dedicated to proving that Atlantis existed and attempt to discover the location of the Lost Continent. Here, accepting the existence of Atlantis, the author pontificates on the spiritual condition of soul attempts to indicate the inner nature of the conditions under which they lived. An interesting discourse on the evolution of the Atlantean and Leumurian race as revealed by the Akashic records.

About the Author

The Austrian philosopher and writer Rudolf Steiner was one of the most original thinkers of the twentieth century. His writings cover a wide range of subjects, and he made valuable and influential contributions in many fields, including education, science, medicine, and social reform. The foundation of his researches was the "science of the spirit" that he called anthroposophy. He maintained that material science could never comprehend the whole of nature, as it excluded the realm of the spirit. Bridging the physical and spiritual worlds, anthroposophy would show the way toward a true understanding of humanity and its relation to the universe. Rudolf Steiner's legacy is remarkable. Around the world, thousands of programs have been built up around his inspiration and ideas. These include Waldorf schools, centers for special education, medical clinics, biodynamic farms, centers for various arts, and much more.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Interesting History Lesson!, October 24, 2005
This review is from: Atlantis and Lemuria (Paperback)
Steiner builds on his Theosophic roots and delves into its cosmology by deeply exploring the significance of Atlantis and Lemuria and how those cultures were meant to proceed and develop our present day existence. Not for the weak of intellect yet for those who have a basic understanding of occult themes, a fascinating read, indeed!

4.0 out of 5 stars Is this another edition of Steiner's "Cosmic Memory"?, April 14, 2010
This review is from: Atlantis and Lemuria (Paperback)
Many hands published Steiner's works in the period approximately 1950-1980. Does anyone know for sure if this is Cosmic Memory re-titled or unique material?

If this IS another edition of Cosmic Memory, that would be five stars for content, zero stars for confusing this edition with other editions under the more common title.
