Having been a fan of Tom Swift too many years ago, I found Prophet Quest to be a great story, and a very easy read. This is Cahail's first work, and he has created interesting characters, fantastical whimsy, and dark plot themes, woven together into a story that keeps you guessing until he pulls it all together. A much larger than life blend of sci-fi, fantasy, and action/adventure. Looking forward to the second book.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lots of Fun! September 25, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
A fun, fast-paced fantasy makes a good travel-read; take it on your next airplane trip. There are surprises when you least expect them which gets you thinking. Some of the "period" references are especially fun if you've lived long enough to remember first hand. I won't spoil it for you - read for yourself. Looking forward to book #2.
