5.0 out of 5 stars concise and without the usual political rethoric
Not much to say in the face of facts, just watch, understand and learn.
Certainly, it may not get 5 stars as a coffee table showoff book. But if you are not getting the book for idle reasons, but because you need to know, in order to make decisions, it does deserve its 5 stars.

Certainly, it may not get 5 stars as a coffee table showoff book. But if you are not getting the book for idle reasons, but because you need to know, in order to make decisions, it does deserve its 5 stars.

If you expend the time to understand what the information presented means, you get access to information that would be limited to large multinational corporations and governments without the worldbank publishing these books.

This book is the successor to the World Bank's annual World Bank Atlas publication. While the World Bank is not liked by many, its data is generally regarded as very reliable. This book puts in visual terms a lot of aspects of the state of our planet. If you are interested in more books about the future of our planet, you might want to check my profile, where I have compiled some Listmania lists on this subject. Overall, I would recommend buying this book.
