Product Description

The flexible nitrile coating is tougher than rubber, protecting palms and fingertips from the rigors of every day work. Seamless lightweight black nylon knit liner increases comfort while it repels dirt and stains. Ideal for jobs requiring maximum dexterity and freedom of hand movement without the fatigue associated with heavier, bulkier gloves. Machine washable.

GREAT gloves for construction or gardening, and now in "guy-black". They are so supple I can tie my shoes and bandana with them on. Yet they are tough enough that I can dig in sandy dirt with my fingers, carry rocks, bricks, concrete blocks, logs and handle metal without damage to my hands from abrasion and cuts. This is partially because the snug cuff does not allow any dirt/sand inside. But mainly it is by virtue of the very tough, though thin, nitrile rubber coating on their gripping surfaces. They breathe through the back, and if fit properly, are VERY comfortable, even when wet. For my kind of work they outlast leather gloves at least 4 to 1 while providing equal or better gripping capability for any tool.

Their only drawback is they are not as puncture resistant as leather. If you want to prune roses, get leather!

I've been using these gloves for about three years now and I absolutely love them. At only about three dollars per pair when bought in a package of twelve here at Amazon, they really are the best value. These gloves are extremely durable, comfortable, so much like a second skin that I don't have to remove them to send my boss a text message on my cell phone. The only bad thing is that if you sweat a lot from labor, after you wore them for a couple of weeks they make you hands smell like moldy cheese. However, I solved that problem by soaking them everyday once they begin to smell, in hot water with liquid laundry detergent for at least two hours. It's easy to do and well worth it to use them for about six weeks until finally a hole appears in one of the finger tips. Depending on the type of work your doing will determine if they last longer or shorter than they do for me, but regardless of that they out last most other gloves save for the thick, suede leather type more suitable heavy labor without as much of a need for more prolific tasks. I actually have a pair of that leather type for one particular task I perform occasionally, but since it's not something I do on a daily basis, that pair is yet to be replaced after two years of little usage. I've tried so many different types of gloves and found these at Home Depot at six dollars a pair, but they stopped carrying them. I found them at Ace Hardware for nine dollars a pair, and I was willing to pay that much because they are so durable, but they stopped carrying them. So one day I did a search online and wouldn't you know Amazon has them and at only three dollars a pair; I was ecstatic!Read more ›

I got these because every glove I buy in the stores fails to fit my hands.

I don't know why hardware stores only carry "LARGE" sizes for work gloves. They hang off my hands loosely, so it's impossible to do fine work with them on. (BTW, I am 5'10" and the sizes at Home Depot do not fit me at all)

These fit great. It's a blast to put them on, do some grimy nasty work, and be able to take them off and not have my hands trashed.

No animal had to be killed and skinned to make these gloves, and they fit... well, like a glove! They are great for extensive gardening and any chore where you still need your dexterity but want to protect your hands. And they really last!!
