This review is from: Atlas of Indocyanine Green Angiography (Hardcover)
If you are looking for a really good book on ICG angiography, there aren't many to choose from. Some general ophthalmology or general retina textbooks have a short chapter on it. The chapter on it in the AAO Monographs retinal angiography book certainly leaves much to be desired. There are several combo books on FA/ICG from the UK and Asia that don't excite me. The Coscas book on ICG from Paris looks interesting but is expensive and I haven't acquired it yet.

This book is skinny and reads quickly. It certainly is not new, but I thought this book offered an easy to understand overview of ICG angiography and specifically focused on disease processes where ICG may actually have some benefit over fluorescein angiograms. This practical appraoch I found pleasing as opposed to showing a laundry list of ICG pictures in diseases where ICG angiography really has no definite role over FA. The pictures quality is just average, nothing to get excited about but they are certainly adequate.

If you can get this book for a reasonable price, would buy it and read it. It really is a good and well written book. Certainly there are other texts that might be more in depth. Dr. Yanuzzi has a more extensive textbook on ICG angiography that I have heard good things about, but not yet read. It is not new either. The Coscas book would be another option to try for a newer and possibly more extensive ICG book.
