Excellent and extremely useful,

This review is from: Atlas of Internal Medicine (Hardcover)
Internal medicine is a very broad subject with diverse subspecialties. Physicians and medical students probably will not forget how they painfully hardcore the medicine textbook. Usually we forgot the tremendous amount of text what we read.
However, people do remember pictures more easily. This excellent updated atlas provides readers an interesting learning experience by making use of a lot of pictures and flow charts which already cover the majority of the common and uncommon diseases. I'm an internal medicine resident right now and I constantly refer to it for studying and preparing professional examination. I really wish I could have a copy when I was a medical student. Don't hesitate. This is one of the few must-have in your personal library.

Great Atlas!,

I just found out about this book today and spent just a few minutes leafing through it and that was enought for me to decide that it would be a great atlas to have on hand for general reference on all the major organ systems and their disease manisfestations. It seems like it would be a great (broad/generalist) review for the boards. I hope to acquire this book soon...!

I am in NP school and if I ever have insomnia, all I need is a nice thick textbook to read! ZZZZzzzzzzz
When I am having trouble focusing on the reams of monotonous text in a standard textbook on medicine, I switch to either audio, or this text for a more visual approach. Sometimes no matter how well you read and study text, a picture is worth a million.
