This book is a cash grab. Seeking to cash in on a previously well written book with Winnie, Waldman seriously insults the intelligence of his would be readers. Not only are the diagrams cell-shaded, but they were over simplified to the point of being useless. Also I recall at one point he advocates using steroids in his approach to the stellate ganglion in the treatment of CRPS, no safe practitioner would do this. Nor is there any valid evidence to support this. I have repeatedly cautioned anyone interested in chronic pain from buying this book.

The book is great however the half of the index is missing. I returned it to Amazon and they shipped another book with the same exact problem. One would think they would check this since I explained the problem in detail when I called for the return. What to do now? I use the book daily do I risk returning it againg for the same problems since it must of happened during printing since the books I received were still wrapped in plastic.

Although it has nice colored diagrams that may be helpful in a presentation or teaching students, it is oversimplified and useless, I regret buying it.
