This review is from: The Atlas of Mind, Body and Spirit (Hardcover)
This book is very good for anyone who wants to learn about collective thoughts, commonolities between theoloigies and cultures, etc.
It has a page for each of the basics of the India yoga shakras, the Jewish Sephiroth tree of life spanning to the Maridians and micro-bodies used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It also spans accross broad topics including Muscle, gender, breath, myth, etc. Expect to walk away with a very good overview/glance at many systems and a thirst to study some of them in more detail - with another book or in meditation. |
