This review is from: Atlas of Veterinary Hematology: Blood and Bone Marrow of Domestic Animals (Paperback)
This book has great pictures of both normal and abnormal cells. Easy to follow, straight forward, and overall just a great textbook for either the veterinarian or the Animal Health Technologist.

This review is from: Atlas of Veterinary Hematology: Blood and Bone Marrow of Domestic Animals (Paperback)
Great book with plenty of slide photos of blood samples. Detailed descriptions but no messing about with overly long paragraphs. It gets right to the point telling you what the cell is, what body processes made them occur, etc. Making it quick and easy to identify cell types. Book is also (including index) only 228 pages making it easy to keep at your workspace.
The contents is as follows: Blood 1) Examination of blood samples 2) Erythrocytes 3) Leukocytes 4) Platelets 5) Miscellaneous Cells and Parasites Bone Marrow 6) Hematopoeisis 7) Bone marrow examination 8) Disorders of Bone marrow 9) Hematopoietic neoplasms 10) Nonhematopoeitic Neoplasms And the appendix has an example of bone marrow evaluation and interpretation

This book is smaller and thinner than I imagined, and the illustrated diagrams are recycled from older books... but the amount of photographs is astounding! Overall, this title is well worthy!
