The book was published in 1981, before computer databases were so popular. The volume is slim, 151 pages in all. However, its content is arranged as a series of linked tables. A code system lets one look up characteristics of various peoples of the world - matching catagories of cultural elements to a root culture. Today, if one were to computerize the inforamtion in this slim volume it would be extremely valuable to the anthropoligist. As its content is presented, however, it is tedious to use. note: some grad student should put the content of this book in a database.
