A good history book...,

I always enjoyed looking at how the maps changed throughout history, and this book illustrates precisely that. I should point out that I bought a newer published version of this book, which states "Updated and Revised" on the jacket cover. I have not finished reading the entire thing, but it is a great history reference. There is also a time line that is on each page, pointing out many key moments in history. I have seen many other history atlases at bookstores but have not read them, so I can't really compare this one to any other. For me, this is an excellent book to reference/learn from.
