Installed it behind my A/V rack to run an HDMI cable up to my wall-mounted LCD TV. Works great and the fact that it has the flexible dongle allows some slack (reduces strain on the cable).

I got these in my house and running a 30 ft HDMI cable inside the wall. No problems with quality. It's exactly what you need.

if you're going to install an "old construction" box on the wall, get the deeper type, because the dongle showing will be a very tight fit once you connect the HDMI male-female everything up. You might as well forget putting a box in the Sheetrock wall and use a bracket instead.

Comes with a single wall plate, but the screws they give you for the wall plate are slightly smaller from the standard size, so dont plan on using another plate to cover it.

Not rocket science but I received it quickly, it installs very easily and works great :)

I received the wall plate on the date specified. it met my expectations. it had a 'jack' on both sides so it was just a matter of attaching the plate to the wall board and plugging in the HDMI cable on each side.

PRO:

Perfect termination for a wall plated HDMI cable run. Looks professional.

CON:

I wish it was available in an off-white. The color is a little too stark. They should match the white and ivory of standard switch plates found in every hardware store across the country.
