I bought this clock purely because it had the day of the week included in its display. My wife has dementia and can not remember the day of the week. After searching long and hard, I found this item and ordered it. I must say that it was larger than I expected but that is not a problem. My wife uses it constantly and really loves it! She feels as if she has been given back a lost ability. I highly recommend this clock for anyone who has a family member with any form of dementia.

I bought this for my mother who cannot remember the date or day of the week. I chose it because it gives both. She LOVES it. The numbers are large so she can see it from anywhere in the room and it is attractive as well. It keeps time well because it is atomic so I don't have to worry about whether she has the correct time. We have found it so useful that I am planning to buy one for my house.

This clock was a perfect gift for my 85 year old mom. She was constantly forgetting what day it was and it was really getting to her. She is thrilled with this clock. She finds it easy to read, even from a distance, and constantly talks about how beautiful it is. And best of all, she feels more "grounded" in the here & now, knowing what day it is. We put it in place of an existing clock, so she doesn't have to look in a new place for it.

This is perfect for my Nana who is always forgetting the date and the day of the week! Well worth the money!

Because my mom has dementia and finds it confusing to know the day of the week, this clock has been a great help to her. Since it displays the time, date, and day of week all on an easy to read clock front, it is a wonderful tool. The only problem I have found is getting the time zone set properly. In the fall when the time changed, we had problem with the clock. Since the instructions had been misplaced, I was able to find the instructions online and fix the problem we were having. That was the only drawback for us. Otherwise, I am pleased to have this as a great tool for my mom.

Purchased this clock for my 93-yr-old mom, who constantly asks "What day is it again?"...Was encouraged to purchase due to the one favorable review that was published.
My findings: the initial set-up of the clock was too complicated.I had to enlist the aid of my husband to figure it out.Like the fact that the clock is light-weight,slim,and easily transportable to any location by my mom.....Now if only we can get her accustomed to USING it to remind her of the day of the week!.

My mother has really benifited from this clock...she has dementia and would fall asleep and not know if it had been a night or day that had passed,,,Now she can look at the clock and know what day and date it is,,,it has given her a piece of mind.

My Mom is 91 and sometimes forgets what day of the week it is, this is very important as her medicine is placed in a weekly container by day. She now knows what day, what date and what time it is :in large easy to read characters. It automatically/atomically reset when DST ceased. It also looks great above her TV sitting atop the digital converter cable box which has the same metallic finish.

I chose this clock, not just for its jumbo LCD time display (my vision and focus are weak and poor, especially in the mornings), but also for its date and day of the week display (good when I wake and need to know date too!). The automatic date and time settings make this a hassle-free instrument. Its hands-free, battery operated features are so helpful to me in my condition. I can't get to the clock to adjust the time when the electricity goes out or when Daylight Savings Time takes effect (can't walk and am bedridden).

My physical issues are due to a neuro-muscular disease/disorder (supposedly supported by MDA) that is both debilitating and degenerative and involves the progressive loss of coordination and muscle strength leading to motor incapacitation and inevitable confinement to a wheelchair. In my experience, MDA is a JOKE! I have learned that MDA attempts to make everyone believe that they are out to help people like me, but instead, exploit us for their own selfish monetary gain! During my lifetime of 45 years, suffering with this horrible disease/disorder, realistically, MDA hasn't done anything -- not even a simple treatment!

This clock is mounted on the wall in my bedroom; it always keeps good time.

I bought this for my mother who is 93 and who has severe problems with her memory. This product has turned out to be everything that I had hoped for and more. She has found it to be very helpful in keeping her days and dates straight. The product looks very nice in her living room. And, most important of all, SHE LIKES THE PRODUCT for all the reasons above.
