Steve Michalik is my friend & trainer. He is a living legend as well as a man of kindness, humility, courage, and excellence. He is a trainer of champions and an inspiration to all who really know him. I highly recommend ATOMIC FITNESS as well as the application of the
principles found within these extremely valuable pages!

If you buy this book expecting to find details of Steve Michalik's legendary Intensity,Insanity training....then keep your money in your pocket, you wont find what your looking for in this book.
Instead we have a selection of circuit traning routines.
The Intensity,Insanity section is restricted to a few pages of repetition schemes, which to be honest you...

If you buy this book expecting to find details of Steve Michalik's legendary Intensity,Insanity training....then keep your money in your pocket, you wont find what your looking for in this book.
Instead we have a selection of circuit traning routines.
The Intensity,Insanity section is restricted to a few pages of repetition schemes, which to be honest you could find anywhere on the internet, no depth,no detail?
For the novice weight trainer this book is over complicated, the experienced trainer will be left frustrated by the lack of real training information and the "padding out" of chapters with disjointed information, seemingly from a variety of different sources.
The book is very dissapointing, especially when you consider the status that Michalik has, in this respect I felt misled to read the 5 star review - only to find this person was a technical assistant on the book.
I am sure actually training with Steve Michalik is a different ball game altogether, few will get the chance to do that, therefore; people will buy this book in the expectation of finding something which is really exceptional, in my opinion it isnt.

Steve Michalik has taken the guesswork out of your training, nutrition and emotional challenges of your development.

In recent years my book shelf was consumed with many books on bodybuilding and nutrition with minimal results.
I admit this was my fault because of not doing my homework on the author. What have they done to be an expert?

Steve as outlined in "Atomic Fitness" is a triple-crown bodybuilding champion who has developed a true time-saving, challenging, and most importantly a systematic approach to winning at all levels of your desired goals from the novice to competitive bodybuilder!

I have personally utilized the routines in this book for the last six months and have been AMAZED by the results!!

The hidden secrets on cardio and the science of balancing proteins and carbohydrates will greatly enhance your appearance!

I will utilize the "Atomic Fitness" book as a continuous reference guide and rank this as highly recommended!!

Steve Michalik's book Atomic Fitness has a wealth of information about taking responsibility and control of your health and fitness. His approach addresses fitness from physiological and psychological views. It is training for your mind as well as your body.

The photos clearly show how to perform the movements and the accompanying information details the whys. The progressive nature of the trainings provides great motivation and keeps the workouts exciting. The nutrition sections are clearly written and answer many questions about how to feel
and look great.

This book is unique in its perspective. I am in my third reading and with each reading have gained a new level of understanding.

I highly recommend this book to anyone really interested in knowing the truth about fitness.

I HIGHLY recommend this book if you're looking for a no-nonsense approach to training. This book covers it all; from the very beginner to the highly advanced bodybuilding routines.

A very pleasant surprise was the chapters on the mind. Steve Michalik has some very eye-opening information here, something that I have not yet seen in ANY type of fitness/exercise book.

Additionally, his stories of overcoming an abusive childhood & later in life, a paralizing car accident are truly inspirational -- this is a MUST read.

I read "Atomic Fitness" about 2-3 weeks prior to competing in the 2006 Mrs. America Pageant. At that point in time I felt as though I looked "just fine" and I did not believe I could improve my physique or appearance at that "late stage of the game". How wrong was I!! At the suggestion of a friend, I read the book and started following the simple nutrition guidelines and training program. I was a bit nervous at first because I did not want to look like a bodybuilder. I still cannot believe how in just 2 weeks I was able to significantly transform my body and look (and feel) better than I ever had! I was FINALLY able to get rid of that little "extra layer" that always covered my body and I looked incredibly strong and tone yet feminine. I am proud to say that out of 51 national delegates, I was a Top 12 Finalist at the Mrs. America Pageant and I owe my success in large part to author Steve Michalik and his "Atomic Fitness" system. At the age of 41, I competed with women who were almost half my age (the youngest being 23 years old and many of whom had never given birth to any children; I have 3) and because of Mihalik's book (and of course the results I saw from following his methods), I also felt more confident than ever before.

Just like many other people, I have read countless books on fitness and have tried just about every "diet" that ever existed. Nothing really worked...AND THEN THERE WAS "ATOMIC FITNESS!"
No gimmicks, no magic, no mystery, just rapid results IF you follow Michalik's system. All the information and tools are there, they just need to be followed. Because of "Atomic Fitness" I now look at exercising and eating very differently. No more towels for my dripping sweat on the treadmill for me! And now my body is a fat burning machine simply, in part, because of the WAY I eat, ie. the book tells you what foods to eat when and why.
In conclusion, if you want to learn how your body works, why certain food combinations make it function more efficiently together with basic exercise routines that anyone can do, then "Atomic Fitness" is a must read.

(And I love the fact that I can throw the book in my handbag so that I can review recipes, calories, fat, protein and carbohydrate content, etc. at the supermarket.)

Steve Michalik known in bodybuilding as "The Phantom" is an incredible bodybuilder. He overcame a terrible auto accident, to not only walk again, but to compete on a professional level.

This book is thought provoking and provides fantastic information for bodybuilders, as well as the average person interested in getting into shape.

His Drug-Free approach to training is a tremendous contribution. His methods are worth knowing and putting into practice.

This is the type of bodybuilding book, that will be re-read over and over again!

Great work Steve! I'm hoping for a "Atomic Fitness" DVD to be available in the future!

SCIENCE IS PROVEN FACT.... The fact is, going against that, sets up a poor image and outlook for anyone reading this book !!!! Anybody truly interested in H.I.T. can do A GREAT DEAL BETTER THAN THIS BOOK !!!!
I failed to see how a man on more hormones than can be counted, using his GLORY DAYS photos of his contest wins.... JUICED OFF HIS FACE.... Can really be a good coach for training natural people !!!!
I would say, when you do not disclose THE DARK PAST of one's conpetitive career, you are being a FRAUD. Anybody interested in REAL KNOWLEDGE, can check out PROPER TEXTS ON H.I.T. THEORY from these EXPERTS IN THE FIELD.... Mike Mentzer, Arthur Jones, Ellington Darden, Doug McGuff, John Little, Peter Sisco.... VALUE FOR MONEY, FACTS AND ACCURATE INFORMATION :)
