As a long time fan of the San Francisco music scene, I was thrilled to see MK release a full length CD. MK's offering is a blend of the Gin Blossoms and classic rock from the mid to late 70s. If you are looking for a retro groove that's been updated and sounds fresh, this band is for you. Can't wait for their next release!

This cd reminds me of a time when music as much about songs as it is now about a sound or look. For Granted and Love is Always Growing (#1 and #2) are the best songs, but #5 Falling Down is a keeper too. The only weak spot is the last song IMHO. They sound a little like U2, with some Cult and INXS mixed in. It's a grab bag of early 80's influence presented in a 2K kind of way. I will definitely purchase their new cd when it comes out.

This CD stands up to others in your collection. It reminds me of Midnight Oil meets NYC. It's simply an honest rock album that has some great songs. You will like this band.
