Works great, extremly accurate, sets itself every night with no problem. Automatically adjusted itself for daylight savings time. Looks and feels good on my wrist. Wrist strap fits all sizes . This watch is as good as other watches costing much more. How can you not buy this watch for only $20.00. Good find Amazon, Good job Sper Scientific, great watch!!!!!

(the editor who approves these reviews can breath a sign of relief -- this will be my last update to this review)
at $20 this falls into the "you get what you pay for" category - the price was the only good thing about it - and the 3 or 4 second backlight so i can read it in the dark bad things: 1) it rarely receives the NISTs radio signal - in the 3 months that i've worn it - the update indicator has only shown twice - while a previous watch i owned would update every nite - so the problem isn't with my location 2) Supposedly i can initiate the search for the radio signal - but that doesnt work 2) i'm wearing the second one sent to me cuz the first one was even more defective 3) i can't find a way to change the wristband 4) the font is difficult to read for my aging eyes i havent used any other features so i can't comment on them i'll wear it for a year to justify the $20 (plus $8 shipping) - then i'll get another one PS - the third time my watch updated from the radio signal - the resulting time was 10 hours off - and several days behind - i had to manually correct it PSS - after less than 6 months - on July 4th actually - the battery of my watch died - i see the product description said it should last "about 1 year" - and 5+ months is "about 1 year" - isn't it what a dilemma this caused - this is a watch that infrequently updated to the atomic clock near Denver - and of those occasions - there were a couple times when new time was hours - days - and years off - so - should i spend the time and the few dollars to get a new battery - or get a new watch there are no prizes for correctly guessing my ultimate decision

I like the design of this watch, it's easy to see in the dark because the time numbers are not too small and they're situated in the middle not to the side or surrounded by graphic inlays like most Casio watches are designed to look sophisticated.
There is only one small design flaw, the watch band eventually breaks down over time and cracks if you wear it constantly like I have with a similar model with the brand name of Xacta which I've owned and used for nearly a decade now. I paid $49 for my 1st Xacta, then bought a $29 back-up as a back-up for whenever the band(s) broke off of the watch. At $20 a piece, I bought 2 and the shipping from Arizona was reasonable for 2 and they arrived in a few days, fast shipping. I realize that other reviewers had trouble setting their watches, these watches are sensitive to interference within the home or outside metal objects, with the thumbnail size of the receiving antenna in these watches, don't expect to receive the 60 Khz signal while trapped inside a steel office building. I know because I damaged the razor thin wires that connect to the main receiver from the antenna when I tried to replace the battery the first time, fortunately i worked at a electronics company at the time and was able to "borrow" the use of a stereo microscope to solder the wires back onto the proper terminal position saving me from having to discard the watch. The trick in replacing the battery is to replace the CR1620 battery at a point where the back-light is so dim that the numbers are virtually unreadable in the dark.

good watch, horrible stopwatch,

I bought this watch specifically for the stopwatch function so I was really unhappy when it stopped timing and went back to the time of day after 60 mins. It only runs for 60 min, doesn't alert you, deletes it and returns to the time. I need something for marathon training. I ran 16 miles and looked down to get my time to find out it wasn't there so I was pretty upset.
If you just want it for a watch or a short term timer then it would be great, but it is a let down for what it was bought for.

I have owned this watch for only a few months, and the crystal has a couple of scratches, but it otherwise totally satisfactory. It is not a signature watch, but it is capable and looks strong and is really cheap. (Things break. Especially watches. I try to spend as little as possible on them.) I think this is an excellent value and recommend it to anyone who is looking for function over stylized form.
