Maybe I'm peculiar, but I typically buy a shooting script in order to get a sense of how the film itself came to be, which always means that more was shot than ends up on screen. In many of the newmarket series, the shooting script gives us what does not end up on screen, or in some cases may end up as deleted-scenes or alternate takes as special features. This is true for instance of Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Slumdog Millionaire. But Christopher Hampton states outright in his introduction that we're getting "a transcription, made after the event, of the finished film." Who would need to read this, when all you have to do is see the movie?

I bought this script for my daughter over the holidays and she loved it.
for that price I couldn't said no.
I'm so glad I was able to find it. Cause she says is one of the kind.

The script is very beautiful, and I started to tear up much earlier than when I watched the movie.
