These boxes are super sturdy. I purchased 2 total. i have 1 in a 04 dodge 1500 quad cab and liked it so much i bought another one for my 03 dodge quad cab. i have 2 12" kenwoods in the 04 and I am putting 2 10" pioneer premiere series in the 03. My 12" kenwoods sound good. the box fits like a glove. I did have to remove the tray from under the rear seat for installation which was no big deal. All my boxes in the future will be Atrends.

I ordered this 10" box because the first Atrend 12" box I ordered my speakers did not fit in. I had to go back to Best Buy and return the 12" speakers for 10" spearkers. When this unit arrived I opened it and found I was sent the exact unit (12") in a box marked 10". Also this unit is not vented it is a sealed unit. Also they describe it as having a bed liner finish. This came in with a carpeted finish. Had to send back. Also Atrend does make a 10" enclosure for less then half the price as this one that is sealed and carpeted. I missed an install date because of this OEM mistake. Amazon made it easy to return the unit and refurnded my purchase. I ended up purchasing the R/T Dual 10" enclosure and still waiting on it since it was not an Amazon purchase. I now go back and see Amazon is selling the 10" carpeted enclosure for the correct price which I could have had the next day. What a bad experience.

The enclosure is far from what is wanted for a subwoofer enclosure. Due to the lack of space under the Quad Cab seats, it is necessary to critically design the enclosure for maximum response and shelved ability. First of all, this enclosure is not vented and not a bandpass, therefore, falsely detailed. The sturdiness is there, yes, but just that is not enough. I would not recommend this enclosure for anyone that doesn't want total disappointment.

I would highly recommend Pro Boxes.... unfortunately, amazon doesn't carry them. Check your local Car Audio Shops.. (ie. mobilewiring.com)

This box does fit well in my '02 Dodge Ram 1500. The only problem is, the seat comes on top of them, preventing the subwoofers from moving. This box sits too high out of the shell. I want a refund.

this box works great in my truck. i dont have no issues and very discreet looking under the seat. just great....
