This enclosure is advertised as 1.90 cu ft per side in Atrend's catalog BUT if you do a rough calculation of its internal volume using its external dimensions, you'll get anywhere from 3.6 to 4 cubic feet depending on whether you use Amazon's or Atrend's published dimensions. Divide that by 2 and you get 1.8 to 2 cu ft per side. But wait! That does NOT include the volume the ports occupy! After I unboxed the enclosure, I carefully measured the internal dimensions, including those of the port. The total actual volume of each side came out to be just over 1 cu ft per side!!! Those huge ports are great, but they fold several times over, taking up a lot of space. This is nowhere near the 1.90 cu ft per side that it claims and that I need! 1 cu ft per side would be PERFECT for a pair of 10" drivers, but NOT the 12s I have. This enclosure is a great deal because of its price and excellent build-quality, but I had to give it a 1-star rating because I had to return it due to the fact that it wasn't as advertised. Thankfully, I got a 100% refund from Amazon due to its having free shipping to begin with, and Amazon was understanding enough to cover the return shipping cost. Thank you Amazon!!!
