5.0 out of 5 stars It's the bomb!
I have the european 2-CD edition and all I can say it's great as well as other Snap's releases. Snap was a euro-dance project created in Germany, most of their tracks were marked as commercial and some of the remixes here also. But this compilation features various trance-techno remixes and dubs which are surprisingly far away from the sound of Snap we all know.

3.0 out of 5 stars Snap confuses everybody with weird releases

Coming over from Europe I already found out that German act Snap in their peak (early to mid 90s) has gone through many female vocalists and their Madman's Return album has been re-released about 4 times with different track listings. The idea the guys behind Snap had was that after they ditched rapper Turbo B after the first "Madman" release (and the only one available in the US), they had to redo the album eliminating the raps of Turbo B, I guess they didn't like him very much. After that they jumped on the eurodance/house bandwagon and started making tunes like "Eternity" and "Exterminate" and re-shaped "Colour of love" and "Rhythm is a Dancer" eliminating the rapper. The best of compilation further confuses things. In Europe they released a regular best of (available as import), containing all the singles. Also a remixes 2CD was released (unavailable in US). The US release of Snap Attack contained some remixes and some singles.Leaving out regular single cuts and including two mediocre mixes of "Colour of love" is strange to say the least. Highlights include "The Power" (the complete version), Rhythm is a Dancer (no rapper) and the Ooops up live mix. But where are "Welcome to tomorrow", "Do you see the light", "Rame" etc. Go with the import best of

4.0 out of 5 stars The rulers of Techno!, August 13, 2005
This review is from: Attack: Best of Snap - Remixes & All (Audio CD)
'I've got the power!!' The line that ruled the dance floor in the mid 90's, and is still frequently used on radio stations and parties today. Also featured is the equally brilliant 'Rhythm is a Dancer'. 'Attack: The Best of Snap, Remixes & All' is a must for the collection of anyone into Techno, or anyone who wants to dance like an idiot again to 'I've got the power!'

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good release !, June 19, 1999

Like the name of this album says, it's the best of remixes of Snap! I always search for the 12" Mix of Rhythm Is A Dancer and the Original Single of The Power, and I've found theses collection pieces on this album. Some pieces are bad, but remixes are very good ! Don't buy other CD of Snap ! Buy it ! You won't regret it !!
