Well, no, but I wanted to write one, so here it is.!

I think that Goosebumps are great books for kids or the young at heart. They are extremely easy to read, but most of them have intriguing stories, some horrific moments, and relatable characters.

Attack of the Jack-o'-Lanterns is not my favorite Goosebumps story, but it is still clever and one for the underdog...

Well, no, but I wanted to write one, so here it is.!

I think that Goosebumps are great books for kids or the young at heart. They are extremely easy to read, but most of them have intriguing stories, some horrific moments, and relatable characters.

Attack of the Jack-o'-Lanterns is not my favorite Goosebumps story, but it is still clever and one for the underdog in you.

The story is about Drew, a twelve year old girl whom is fed-up with her long-time rivals Lee and Tabby, a pair of stuck-up buddies who get a kick out of tormenting and teasing Drew and her friends Walker, Shane, and Shawna. Shane and Shawna are twin brother/sister. Shane and Shawna were gone for a while, but now have come back just in time to help Drew.

Tabby and Lee have a history of pulling Halloween pranks on Drew and her friends, and this year Drew believes she has a sure-fire plan to get her revenge. That is until there have been many accounts of missing people. Which threatens her chances of trick-or-treating. But Drew wont give up and is determined to have her plans followed through.

Overall "Attack of the Jack-o'-Lantern" is a story that tells the tell of a tormented kid that rings true because, hey, it happens. Well I mean the getting teased part anyways. This is a fun revenge fantasy that involves some interesting twists. We've all been twick-or-treating(well most of us). And this is the tale of a trick-or-treating trip from hell as well.

So if you like Goosebumps, Halloween stories, or are looking for a fun and easy read, try "Attack of the Jack-o'-Lanterns". Its worth 2hrs of your time. :D

God Bless ~Amy

5.0 out of 5 stars The best as usual, July 31, 2000
A Kid's Review
This book was great. R.l Stine really knows what we expect but gives us the exact oppossite! I was expecting the jack o lanterns to really be monsters! Again R.L Stine put us on a cliff hanger not knowing what would happen! It takes a lot of thinking after fifnishing the book to relate the missing people to what Shane and Shana had said!

4.0 out of 5 stars The best book for Halloween, November 7, 2001
A Kid's Review
After one ruined Halloween, which was Drew and Walker's favorite holiday, they decided to get revenge against Tabby and Lee, but after a whole year of planning a spooky Halloween party with their friends Shane and Shana, their plans of revenge are shattered as they find out that Lee and Tabby decide not to come at the last second. On the third year of Halloween, their last year of trick-o-treating as a non-teenager, they decide to cook up a spooky plan. Shane and Shana were to be trick-o-treaters with jack-o-lantern heads and frighten Tabby and Lee; the plan then backfires on Drew and Walker. They, who were also going trick-o-treating with Lee and Tabby, were forced to trick-o-treat all night until they couldn't take it anymore. Shane and Shana with their spooky, real looking pumpkin heads and their brother and sister jack-o-lanterns stuffed pumpkins on Tabby and Lee's heads, which caused them to run away. Finally, the four friends got back at Tabby and Lee.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spooky!, October 2, 2000
A Kid's Review
This was a top ten spokky book record. Although the real jack-o-lantern stuff dosen't really start right away, I still think that this book deserves a lot of credit for it's suspenseful thrills and chills. Plus every page is filled with top quallity Halloween reading. This is an excallent book for kids on a spooky, Halloween night. Great Book!

4.0 out of 5 stars In the middle of the Goosebumps Series., August 22, 1999

This book wasn't R.L's scariest Goosebumps Book, but it definately isn't his worst. The best bit was were all the doors opened in the houses and hundreds people with Jack-O'-Lanterns on their heads came out of the doors. The worst bit was Drew's dream which she had, that was just plain sad.

I read a few and then got bored with them. I want action in a book with ghosts. Stange Matter is much better!

5.0 out of 5 stars Everbody should read it!!!!!!!!, May 20, 1998

Because I live in England the attack of the jacko lanterns has only just come out. I am a huge fan of goosebumps. I currently have 64 altogether. The attack of the jacko lanterns is one of the funneist and most puzzling book that R.L. Stine has ever wrote. I'm sure I'd be scared to If I came across someone on halloween with flames instead of eyes too!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars This was my favorite R.L. Stine book., January 6, 1998

The most exciting part of the book is the part when Shane and Shana take off their jack-o'-lanterns. The kids were really really scared. Read the book so you can experience the fear.
