This author has done an excellent job. I like the fact that he didn't just talk to the actors or directors but interviewed actors, directors, producers, etc. A great look at the Monster movie genre.

For the film buffs for Hollywood monster films of the fifties, this book is a great find. Interviews with the writers and directors and film makers and stars of that era is fascinating and just plain fun. It gives a very good idea what it was like to put together films of that era. Some of those films have become cult and minor classics now. For the newer generation this is a great history piece.

An indispensable series of interviews, highly enjoyable and informative. As usual a comprehensive index makes finding tidbits about your favorite films and participants a snap.
