Humor writer Julie Tilsner's hilarious new book Attack of the Toddlers! picks up where Planet Parenthood: Adapting to Your New Life Form left off. While Planet Parenthood explained that the first twelve months of parenthood would take nervous, expectant parents on "a wild, Dolby stereo, Technicolor, 3-D transformation" unlike anything they'd experienced, in Attack of the Toddlers! Tilsner shows them that the ride is far from over, and that surviving toddlerhood is no easy feat. Attack of the Toddlers! is more a humorous gift book than a practical parenting book, though it does offer plenty of practical advice. The structure is breezy and fun, with entertaining sidebars, "Toddler Summit Tips," and subchapters on such subjects as "Identifying Toddlers: A Field Guide," "Tapping Your Inner Toddler," and "Enter the Sun King."
