5.0 out of 5 stars A series for future paleontologist!! August 28, 2008
By Tresmom
Format:Paperback
I would highly recommend this informative series about dinosaurs. It's much better than the Magic Tree House series and well written too.The facts are presented via the "Fossil Finder" which my son thought was very cool and the accompanying maps and fact files only added to its appeal. We have a new word in our house now-'JATOM'.I enjoyed reading it as much as my 6 year old son and can't wait to get my hands on the other books in this series.

Are you curious about Jatom??? Read the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Series November 15, 2009
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is a great series for boys and Dinosaur Lovers. Short chapters (4-6 pages). My 6 year son loves these and even my 3 year old loves to listen to the stories. Series is about two friends that find a cave with a secret passage that leads them back to the age of dinosaurs. They travel back and forth in time and the stories revolve around their adventures in the dinosaur age and the present day dino museum that one of the characters father has just opened. I would recommend for ages up to 10. Illustrations are every few pages and are non-color. Highly recommend for early readers and young boys.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to get hooked! April 6, 2009
Format:Paperback
My 5 year old boy has always liked being read to, but this one became an instant favorite. We were going to read a chapter or two a night but he couldn't get enough. We read it in two days. He talks about it, brings it in the car, wants to take it to school. We've already read the second one now and the third is his reward for exemplary behavior at school this week. Rex Stone puts in the factual information but the plot carries so quickly that the story does not get bogged down with it.
