This review is from: Shark Attacks (Animal Attack) (Paperback)
First of all, this is not a book, it's a pamphlet. It has very basic descriptions of only a few sharks. Any encyclopedia has better and more informative material. There are brief overviews of a couple of shark attacks. Nothing to be learned, nothing to be gained. It takes about 3 minutes to flip through this "book" which is--maybe--a quarter inch thick. Want some shark thrills? Read "Jaws" again -- it's probably been a couple of years since you last picked it up. It's the perfect beach book! Or read Peter Benchley's "Shark Trouble" for another perspective on the predators. Even better, read "Close To Shore" or "Twelve Days of Terror" about the famous shark attacks that took place in a river in New Jersey. You'll think twice before dangling your legs over the edge of a rowboat!
