Excellent Insight into the Mind of an ADD Child,
By JCutes@AOL.Com (Akron, Ohio) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Attention Deficit Disorder: Add Syndrome (Paperback)
This book brings great understanding of the person with ADD. You don't realize the difficult time these people go through just to function on a day to day basis. The author, first of all, describes the symptoms so you know what is a part of the syndrome and what isn't. He then discusses the impact of the ADD syndrome on learning and self image. He even gets into the things that the ADD student will say and why they are saying it. It helped me to understand some things that have really baffled me about my ADD son. Being able for a moment to stand in his shoes has changed my whole view at a time when both the teachers and my husband and I have been on the edge of giving up. I highly recommend this book to anyone dealing with an ADD child or an adult.
