The Attic Tent has an insulating value of R-3.2. It is a specially engineered, patented insulator designed to create an air transfer barrier between your attic and living areas. It is a practical and economical solution to a problem that has existed since homes were first built with overhead attic entries. That problem is wasted energy through and around the attic door and stairs. It insulates folding attic stairs, knee wall doors, and attic scuttle holes.
The AT-4 is 25"W x 54" x 13"H and fits attic ladders with a 25" x 54" opening and 1x5 or 1x6 side rail.

I think its working pretty well... I am wanting to know how much better I am saving on my electric bill now that I have it! I can tell its not so hot and stuffy like it was before I got this product.
I had a energy evaluation done on my house and it was suggested I add this to the attic stairs. Also should help with humidity.

Perfect- easy to install and use. Attic was insulated with spray foam so it was installed mainly for dust purposes, but would certainly consider it for insulating as well. Seems to be good quality, shipped fast.
