5.0 out of 5 stars Heavier Than Debut
The debut - while noisy - wasn't particularly thick with metallic riffs. This album proves how heavy the group can be - check out the 2nd, 3rd and 9th tracks! - while still penning nuggets of pop bliss, like the 5th, 8th and 11th cuts. Overall, they hardened up their sound without compromising their catchy sensibilities, and for that, they deserve commendation. Fans of...

3.0 out of 5 stars awesome live band
I bought this CD after seeing Madina Lake live in Salt Lake City. The CD is ok. It has some pretty good songs on it. My only disappointment is that their energy from their live show just doesn't come through with audio alone. If you get a chance to see Madina Lake live, do it!

Fans of Lostprophets and other sunny alt-metal bands should love this disc.

5.0 out of 5 stars :], August 15, 2011
This review is from: Attics to Eden (Audio CD)
You'd never expect something unique like this to come from any band. But Madina Lake has produced this work of art. Dresden Cotex is after this, and is just as amazing. I expect more coming soon from the band that is exactly like this. Maybe even better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sick, August 27, 2010
This review is from: Attics to Eden (Audio CD)
Madina Lake is amazing. And they proved it AGAIN with Attics To Eden. This CD is quite different from FTTUTY, but in a good way. The lyrics are true and real, and that's what makes the songs awesome. I've had this CD since it came out and i'm definitely not sick of it yet, even though i'm always listening to it! You wont regret buying this.

I've been a fan of this band for quite some time and this album is just as beautiful and amazing as From Us, Through Them, To You. I highly recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Unique, June 26, 2010
This review is from: Attics to Eden (Audio CD)
The highly energetic band Madina Lake never fail to please. Every ounce of the band's passion and creativity shows vividly in this album. Madina Lake's music cannot be generally classified or categorized, each track [on Attics] is unique. The individuals that brought us this masterpiece have a lot to be proud of.

5.0 out of 5 stars Insanely Good, May 28, 2010
This review is from: Attics to Eden (Audio CD)
Every second of this album is absolute brilliance. It's the best genre-defying album of 2009. Everytrack has a deep meaning with the fans, "the river people", and with others. You can really tell that Madina Lake have poured their heart and souls into writing that music. With Tracks that make you feel 'badass' like "legends" or "criminals", to tracks like "through the pain" which is sad yet powerful, this album is not one to be missed from your music collection. The epic final track "Lila, the divine game", tops the album off perfectly, and is a real treat of your ears, and to "the river people's" minds.

4.0 out of 5 stars Attics To Eden, May 22, 2010
This review is from: Attics to Eden (Audio CD)
Attics To Eden is a brilliant album. It's not as dark as From Them, Through Us, To You it has a slightly more mainstream sound but that's not to say it doesn't still rock. It is essentially Madina Lake, `Never Walk Alone' has a fantastic drum beat and intro, `Welcome To Oblivion' is a song that everybody can relate to at some point in their lives. The slower songs like `Through The Pain' and `Friends and Lovers' are thought provokers, where as songs like, `Legends' `Never Take us Alive' and `Let's Get Outta Here' are songs you can get up and dance to.

It is an awesome album that old Madina Lake fans will love and will gain Madina Lake new fans in the process.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love, May 6, 2010
This review is from: Attics to Eden (Audio CD)
This album came out a year ago. Its still an album I listen to, to get in a good mood because of the more dancier songs on this album than the previous. Overall though, I have to say its not my favorite not because its bad I just like the rawness/less produced sound of the 1st. I love this album more for the lyrics and the songs that make me happy =D Can't wait for the new EP
