This got to be one of the most hardest working men in hip hop but he don't get recognition like he should. But this album here shows that he is on top of his game with an instant hood classic.

4.0 out of 5 stars 4.5 stars for PT's 9th solo album, February 27, 2008

This review is from: Attitude Adjuster (Audio CD)
The Pastor of Disaster is back with his 9th solo album and just 7 months since his last one. I have 8 of PT's albums (every one since his May 2001 release of "Face Off") and this is my 2nd favorite of his albums, behind "Face Off". Though short at only 10 songs (like all albums put out on Real Talk Ent.), it is definitely worth picking up and worthy of 4.5 stars. As always he has a few street tracks a few for the ladies and one about cars. Of the 10 songs, 1 is almost a classic, 2 are ok, and the other 7 are good, most being real good. Guests are on no songs. just PT on all of them. Production is very good as well and handled by most of the usual Real Talk album procuders. Vince V does half and Big Hollis & Preach do the other half. A must have from one of the southern realest street rappers.

#2 - 8
#3 - 9 (nice beat)
#4 - 8.5 (good beat)
#5 - 8.5 (about his days growing up)
#6 - 8 (another ode to his love of Chevy's)
#7 - 6 (tight beat but rapping is below average)
#9 - 7.5
#10 - 9.5 (tight beat)
#12 - 8.5 (nice beat)
#13 - 8.5 (good beat)

5.0 out of 5 stars PT Cruiser does it again!!!!, August 3, 2008
This review is from: Attitude Adjuster (Audio CD)
Pastor Troy has long been a staple of the Atlanta Georgia hip hop scene. He is nothing less than a legend in the South. Being in the game under ten years (as of 2008) and having at least 12 full length releases is quite an achievement but the bigger achievement is that people still buy up those albums! Pastor Troy really kickstarted GA street music because before PT it was really only the Dungeon Family, Kilo Ali, and Arrested Development coming out of Atlanta. Pastor Troy started this and he gon continue to do what he does. Deliver that street music with an energy and style unparalleled in the game.

Attitude Adjuster is Troy's first album of 2008 (he's released two more A.T.L. and A.T.L. II ft. Goodie Mob) and I'll be damned if he doesn't keep the hits coming. Everytime you think he is gonna fall off he never does. I'm really amazed at how hungry he still sounds. He sounds as fresh as the day he first set the hip hop community on fire with Aint No Mo Play In GA. Lyrically he hasn't fallen off and his production has definitely gotten better. He has perfected album making with equal parts hood anthems and smooth riding songs and songs with just enough reflection, stories, and heartfelt material. Songs such as I'm Hot I Got That Lava, Dread & Alive, For My Soldiers, My Box Chevy, Do You Wanna Dance, Down To Ride, License To Kill, and Put Him On The Scope. Well gee that's the whole album!

Bottom Line, Pastor Troy doesn't disappoint at all. He's as consistent as they come. If you are a fan then I'm preaching to the choir but I encourage those that aren't fans to really give PT Cruiser a try, you won't regret it.
