Hall and Brogniez, consultants both, make one simple and compelling point: readers will make more money and be far happier if they and their company only deal with customers whose values mesh with their own. The authors describe buyers who are in complete synch with the seller as "perfect customers," but they sidestep the issue of what happens if there are not enough "perfect customers" to keep one in business. A lack of quantitative supporting evidence further weakens their strategy. Still, this is a worthwhile book that may cause executives to rethink their basic marketing strategies.

More About the Author

In 1996, I began sharing with my coaching clients a process I created for tapping into the Law of Attraction. I explain this process in Chapter 4 of 'Chi-To-Be!'. By 2001, this process had been shared with thousands of people and was introduced world-wide in 'Attracting Perfect Customers...The Power of Strategic Synchronicity'*. Over the next few years, I experienced the joy of fulfillment at having co-authored a best-selling book and the co-creation of a coaching and consulting company based on this transformational process I created.

Yet, in the fall of 2004, I physically, emotionally, and mentally had run out of energy and enthusiasm to take these accomplishments to the next level of success.

As I began to acknowledge and address my lack of energy, I experienced a huge blow to my emotions. My father passed away suddenly on October 7, 2004. Although he had suffered a stroke 5 years previously, over his last six months he had shown signs of improvement in his recovery. So, there was nothing to indicate that the day he died would be his last one on earth. My father was one of my strongest supporters and I felt as if I had a huge hole in my heart and my life after his passing. I also had tremendous guilt because a week before he died, he had asked me to come visit soon and I told him "I had too much to do for the business" to fly out right then. Since I already had plans to visit my family in December, I actually said to him, "We'll be together for the holidays. It's not like you're dying." Little did I know!

The burden of guilt that I added to my already-depleted body was the literal straw that broke the camel's back. I had tremendous difficulty getting out of bed each morning. Physically, my body felt like it had been hit with a 2' by 4'. Emotionally, I felt powerless. Mentally, I had run out of ideas and my creativity was non-existent.

Never before had I ever been in such a state. I was always the go-getter, the over-achiever, the busy person who could always get things done no matter how much was on her plate. I no idea what was happening to me. All I knew was that I could no longer provide coaching or support to others while I was in such a depleted state myself.

I chose to relinquish my shares in the company I had birthed - another heart-wrenching decision - and make myself my own #1 client for the first time in my life.

There were months when I did not get out of bed. I sought support from coaches, nutritionists, and doctors of alternative medicine. My blood pressure was sky-high and my liver was full of toxins. I changed my diet completely - choosing to eat gluten-free - and I noticed that as I changed my eating habits, my body and my mind began to feel stronger and I was able to deal with the emotions that had previously been too painful to feel.

I read self-help books, I attended life-affirming workshops and seminars, and I made it a point to watch 'The Ellen Show' every day at 3:00 p.m. because I could always count on laughing at least once during every show. And, laughing made my heart feel better.

And, little by little, I began to feel happier.

In previous years, I participated in NIA Technique™ classes. However, by this time, I was doing nothing physically active. So, I found a NIA™ class close to home and began taking, and then, teaching Nia Technique™ classes to strengthen my body, mind, emotions and spirit. At one of the locations where I taught, I was invited to attend a class on using Young Living™ essential oils (http://www.youngliving.org/chitobe). The minute I opened the door to the classroom and the delicious aromas greeted my nose, I knew that I was in the right place. It was as if every pore on my body had a little mouth and they were all drinking in as much of the scent as possible. Intuitively, I knew that these oils would be an important tool in healing my heart...and helping others heal theirs, too.

And, that is exactly what has happened.

What I have learned through this journey is the importance of maintaining my physical, emotional, and mental energy at a consistently high vibration in order to achieve all of my goals. In other words, I have learned how to keep my 'Chi' ("life-force") flowing around and through all of my bodies so they now function as one unit.

I learned that clinical research has proven that essential oils have the highest frequency of any natural substance known to man and that, by applying essential oils to my body, I am increasing cellular frequency and circulation, which increases oxygen delivery to the cell. Basically, each time I am inhaling pure essential oils or applying them to my body, I am literally giving myself more power and strength....or as I like to say, and the title of this book, conveys...I am increasing my Chi energy to be and do whatever I desire!

I was also inspired when I learned that Bruce Tainio of Tainio Technology in Cheney, Washington, developed new equipment to measure the biofrequency of humans and foods. He used this biofrequency monitor to measured the influence that thoughts have on the body's electrical frequency.

I was amazed to learn that negative thoughts lowered the measured frequency by 12 MHz and positive thoughts raised the measured frequency by 10 MHz. It was also found that prayer and meditation increased the measured frequency levels by 15 MHz.

So, I began to focus my attention on how to maintain my body's biofrequency at its highest level through positive thinking and various other methods to increase my Chi energy. As a result, my health continued to increase, my energy returned to full strength, my mind began to function clearly again.

I wrote 'Chi-To-Be! Achieving Your Ultimate B-All' and consider the 11 Chi-To-Be! Energy Surges™ I share in this book as the essential tools, resources, support and nutrients with which I nourished and nurtured my body, mind, emotions and spirit to bring me to level of well-being I did not know existed - or was not even possible for me to experience -- six years ago.

I am now a Certified Aromatherapy Coach, a Certified Raindrop Technique Practitioner, a Licensed Spiritual Healer, and a representative of a therapeutic-grade essential oils company, on my way to attaining a doctorate in Natural Medicine (my B-All™, to be explained in Chapter 1).

And, as I declared six years ago, I have been able to heal my heart - both physically and emotionally -- as well as being blessed to be able to share these tools with many great souls to support them in healing their hearts and achieving their own life's goals.

I've had a few weeks to let this book sink in and I must say that I'm very impressed with what these authors have written. Basing a business approach on the Law of Attraction may seem a little new-agey to some hardened business people. But a great gift of the New Age thinkers is the betterment of our society and living with integrity.
Being a former business owner (and present-day self-help author), I can really appreciate the concept of attracting the best customers and the best employees. The recommended strategy of finding out what makes people tick, looking for room for improvement, finding out what others expect of you, and having more than one plan are clearly defined in the "Strategic Attraction Process."
These authors understand another gift of New Age thinking and that is the concept of manifesting results. That starts with ideas, thinking, attitudes, identities, standards and beliefs. This foundation is thoroughly covered in the "6 Standards of Strategic Synchonicity."
But my favorite part of the book is where they talk about the "21 Daily Tips." Here is a simple treasure chest of ideas for stimulating the attraction process. Some enlightened goodies include:
* Let your perfect customer know they are perfect
* Expect breakthroughs to look like breakdowns
* Share, share, and share yourself
* Break bread with a competitor
* Accept that you don't know
* Make irresistible improvements
I could go on and on about this book. It all boils down to approaching business from a higher place and enjoying the benefits of giving your passion to the value you produce.
Becoming an enlightened business person is a great way to live your passion! This book certainly helps in your quest.

I can't begin to tell you the number of books I read each month covering the topics of branding, marketing, advertising, ecommerce, client building and sales. This book managed to get away from all the matters normally discussed in collegiate texts and boil down business development to the nitty-gritty...attracting the perfect customer for YOUR business.
I read the book outloud to my pregnant wife and openly discussed the merits of each chapter and exercise to see how our individual businesses would be affected. The authors say that once you've established a Strategic Attraction Plan, you could see results within 48 hours.
For me, try 24 hours. I put together an email for my past clients which was personal, devoid of sales generation speak and asked them to tell me how to help THEM succeed. The result? Customers suggesting products they would buy. Customers telling me success stories they had with my products. Customers buying greater-than-average orders of my product.
Read the book. Distill the information. Do the exercises. I have no doubt that this book will enable you to figure out how to increase the sales of your company, how you establish and build a rapport with customers and more importantly, establish abundance in all that you do.

I had a hard time putting this book down! I found it easy to read, very well written, and POWERFUL. The same day that I created my strategic attraction plan as outlined in the book, I began seeing results that evening at a function I attended; results that were directly stated in my attraction plan. The book is written in a way that makes so much sense, I knew it would work and that it was the approach I want for launching my business. "Attracting Perfect Customers" definitely gave me a new and exciting perspective on what I can create for myself and my business!

The day that I wrote out my lists defining my perfect customer and our relationship, I have literally had my phone ringing off the hook. Every single day since that day,and this has gone on now for several weeks, we have had a sale and many people that were only going to purchase one license of our product decided to purchase multiples. My product costs over $5,000 for one.

I am a believer and my sales team is starting to come around too. To keep this string alive I am willing to spend 10 minutes 2 times a day, seeing and attracting my perfect customers. I am aware of the Silva Method and this is along the same lines. I just wish I always remembered it was this simple.

It's hard for me to put into words how much this book has changed my life. By declaring exactly who I wanted my perfect customers to be, I attract them to me. More rewarding than the increased sales is the fact that I get to truly be myself in my work, and get more cliens, respect, and money doing so. What could be more perfect than that?

As the CEO of a Corporate Training Business, I have watched our business grow exponentially as a result of the work I've done with Jan & Stacey. I've read a lot of books about selling and marketing, but this one worked. Not only that, it was simple. I kept thinking there must be more, but it's that easy. Divided into three parts, the book takes the essence of the work that Jan & Stacey do in their workshops and makes it available to everyone.
