I purchased these for use other than what they are intended for. Im a chef and grow my own herbs and vegetables year round, during the hotter parts of summer and winter I do most of my growing indoors in a sanitized growing box around 6ft tall, 3 feet wide and 2 feet deep, its a multi leveled setup so I can grow several types of herbs and spices, mostly sweet basil right now. Well my ventilation has been under-par during these hot summers so I decided to find an alternative. Came across these Attwood 3" Blowers and from reading all the good reviews I figured and the price tag I figured it more than worth a shot. Had to do some wiring to a 12v DC charger, but once I plugged it in, let me tell you these babies move some serious air! My basil and thyme are very happy now, this is a superb product if you need ventilation

This was a direct replacement for the blower that failed in my 18' Glastron with a 190HP Mercruiser 4.3X. The blower was inexpensive and very easy to install. I expect to get 22 years out of this one, as I did with my first.

I bought this item to replace the blower in my 1985 Sea Arrow I/O. Item works great. Seems to really push air quick from the engine bay. My old one sounded like it had rocks in it (which it didnt just old).

Im very happy with the performance of this blower. I didnt really know what to expect since it seemed small to me, but in the end, pushed air pretty quick for what you would first expect.

Easy install, seems to work great. It is a little smaller in actual size as the old one so it fit great with room to spare.

I needed this to replace the one that burned out in my boat. works great all i had to do was splice the wires and mount it and it was done, worked better than the old one, but it didn't work at all.

I got this blower when the original on my boat disintegrated. It fit right, and installed easily, and works like it should. It looked a little flimsy, but I think it will last longer than the boat, which is an '82.

I used this blower to cool a PMD of a diesel pick up truck. It is wired to a relay that kicks on and off by the ignition. So it stays on as long as the engine is on or in the acc. position. Month in the hot summer weather and no problems.

i found that this thing really blows ! i race a chain drive diasio 962 race car . the chain would over heat and then brake from all the heat . i was getting chain temps of 380 to 430 degrees . i needed to get cool air moving over it as it would have on a motorcycle that the 2005 1000cc gsx-r motor came from for this car . for aero reasons the liquid cooled motor gets no air flow to it . i needed to find away to get cool air over the chain and front sprocket . what i came up with was this 3-inch attwood blower . i found that by taking out side air from a low pressure aera on the body of the car and duct it and then with the blow force it over the chain . i can drop the chain temps in half . this is making the 530 x-ring chain last the way is should .i found that the same maker (attwood )of this fan is the same maker and type of fan that is also used for my helmet cooler and the CO. that makes my cool suit sells the fan for twice the price that i paid for this one on amazon .
