2 of 2 people found the following review helpful By Lorgan on September 8, 2013
Mine is a couple years old and I have a few complaints. The biggest one is I found it fails to turn off from time to time, which would end up heating the camper into the 80s. Touching it was enough to get it to turn off. I wasn't able to recreate the effect when sitting in front of it, but at least once a night I'd wake up to 80 degree temps. My second complaint is it doesn't have a temperature setting, rather just a scale. I like setting it to a known temp but that is a minor inconvenience at most. The last issue is the amount of swing it allows, even when set to the narrowest. Mine was the original in my camper and the documentation had nothing on setting the swing but it wasn't hard to find once I took the cover off. I set mine to the minimum (around .75) and even when working correctly that seemed to correspond to 5 degrees at least.
I recently replaced this with a white-rodgers (from Amazon) for less money and it has been working very well.

Sent for a thermostat, received a clip for some other appliance, not even close to being a thermostat. Re ordered, received correct one.

Kept buying this kind of thermostat for my tent trailer at the local hardware store and they never seemed to work quite right. This is a noticeable improvement. Should have bought this sooner.

This is an RV thermostat for Atwood model furnaces. Took 10 minutes or less to install. Remove old thermostat, writing down which color wires go to which connections, then connect those colors to the corresponding connections on the new thermostat. If your old thermostat has extra colors that are without connections on the new thermostat, just wrap each end with electric tape and tuck away into wall. Also, if the 2 screw holes securing the old thermostat to wall do not match the holes of the new thermostat, just drill 2 new screw holes. Easy! Works great. Just make sure and set the anticipator to 1.0 since by default it was set at 0.1

After a thorough investigation, I purchased this thermostat as a replacement for my Coleman Pop-Up Camper propane heater. I was able to go online and investigate thermostat model numbers, as the newer thermostat model numbers are different from the one in my camper, (due to the age of the existing thermostat). I went online and was able to determine this model was an exact replacement for mine. The existing thermostat was installed with two pop-rivets, so I needed to drill them out and punch them out. I needed to supply two threaded screws with nuts to install the new thermostat. The installation instructions were easy to understand. The 2-wire electrical connection went simple. I tested the installation and thermostat when completed. JUST A WORD OF CAUTION: IF YOUR NOT COMFORTABLE DOING BASIC ELECTRICAL - LEAVE THIS REPLACEMENT TO THE PROFESSIONALS. YOU DON'T WANT TO GUESS WITH AN RV PROPANE HEATER.

BE VERY CAREFUL PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM THIRD PARTY SELLER BaBings.
I purchased an item from BaBings and received a confirmation of purchase.
The next day I received an email that my item had shipped, along with a UPS tracking number.
Several hours later on the same day, I received another email that I was being refunded my
purchase amount, because the “Item was out of stock”. I went to the UPS Tracking website to see that
the shipper “Voided the Tracking Number created”.
Several days later I went back on Amazon to see the identical item back for sale with a the same quantity of ‘3’.
Only this time the price was considerably more money.
If BaBings mispriced the item, they should have honored my purchase and update the Amazon price.
Not an honest way for a third party seller to do business on Amazon
