This water heater was an exact replacement for the one that cracked due to freezing weather (our own fault for not properly draining it).
It was a VERY easy installation. Just pulled out the old one and put in the new. The instructions were simple and easy to follow. You can also view an on-line video of the installation instructions.
Hopefully we never have to replace an RV water heater again, but we'd do it again in a heartbeat if needed. This saved us over $200 doing it ourselves over having a dealer install it. Plus it was much faster to do it ourselves.
