A project inspired by the ice storms which ravaged Quebec and Ontario two winters ago and which grapples with the way media representations create/ mediate our perceptions of such events. One disc consists of solo clarinet: improvisations and sounds created on tape derived from Houle’s extended techniques. The second disc is a radiophonic meditation which includes the other musicians in an electroacoustic improvisational context
