I have eczema on my hands - the bane of my existence being a host of skin problems, but eczema on the hands that had flared up constantly was the worst part. I bought this moisturizer for my face originally, thinking that if it was this expensive it must be good - unfortunately, it made my facial skin breakout. But I noticed that the cream felt exceptionally rich and on a whim, tried using it on my hands. This was a huge risk since I have tried everything - seriously, I mean just about everything from natural to totally unnatural, from dermatologist-recommended to homemade oil-and-beeswax creams, to topical steroids and hydrocortisone, to finally using absolutely nothing and putting up with extreme dryness and irritation. Every product would provide short-term relief giving way to a huge flare-up that was intensely itchy. This cream, finally, once and for all, stopped the cycle! Hallelujah! It really is incredibly rich yet doesn't sit on top of the skin so that it can't breathe or function properly (like many oily natural lotions, or petroleum-based unnatural ones do). I don't know why this is so special but the formulation is seemingly perfect - I'll never go back! Even with the scent, and I'm extremely sensitive to frangrance/essential oils - this doesn't irritate! Truth be told I usually mix it with hydrocortisone cream and use it at night, and for several days the itching and dryness is gone. It's expensive but doesn't require frequent use. I would say it was the hydrocortisone cream that was doing it except I ran out of my bottle of this stuff a month ago and I have not been able to calm my eczema down with hydrocortisone alone - it is this cream's supreme moisturizing capabilities that do it. If you have eczema, try it!!!

I used to use the Burt's Bees Carrot Creme, until I realized that it wasn't all natural (duh, me). This product IS, and it works great. Moisturizes well and is not greasy AT ALL. My skin looks really good -- I didn't even get my one "monthly" zit that usually comes on like clockwork. Good stuff!

A product has to truly perform and be affordable to win my favor. This moisturizing cream is both! I am hands down in love with the entire dry skin line by Aubrey Organics but this moisturizing cream is one of the best products that I have ever used. It is heavily moisturizing but it isn't thick. It goes on very easily and absorbs into the skin without leaving a greasy residue behind which makes it superior to Dremu (emu) oil since it has great anti-aging properties. Do an internet search for rose hip seed oil and read up... you'll be amazed how great it really is. This has been so wonderful for my dry sensitive skin and been excellent for erasing my dehydration/fines lines. I am 28 and did not want dry, crepey looking skin... yet! I am very, very happy with this product and will use it as long as they keep making it. A must try!

I've been using this lotion for at least 15 years. I found it by accident when it was recommended to me at a health food store in LA after I had been in the sun for 10 days in July at the Colorado River. One day there it was 134 degrees. I've been going to the deserts around So Cal all my life and this stuff works. I now have my wife and my two daughters using it. Moreover, it seems for me at least to have healing qualities. Many times I've applied it to rashes, irritated skin, mild burns and so forth and it's relieved pain and improved the sore area. Just today I went on a three hour beach hike that included swimming, going through beach caves to get through a cliff face, tide pools, and so forth. I had to carry my kids through several areas. At some point I got sand in my swim trucks and before AI knew it I had a great rash going. Got home, applied some of this magical goo and while the areas are still red I can walk without irritation.
Not sure it works for everyone but for me it's one of the best things I've ever found in my life. Expensive but worth it. I'd say the harsher your environment the more performance you'll see from this product.

I never feel prompted to review products, but this moisturizer has been so wonderful to me that I decided it deserves a huge shout-out. This stuff has been a life-saver for me and my sensitive, dry, itchy, blotchy, red skin. It is rich, but in a way that makes me feel fresh and glowy -- and it shows. Normally, I flip flop from product to product because nothing feels right. I've been using it for about five months and I don't think I'll ever change. My skin has started to look good enough that I don't feel compelled to wear powder and blush before leaving the house -- I've never felt like I could do that. Added perks: the smell is great, it's totally natural, and the bottle seems to be lasting quite a while -- five months in and I've barely gotten past product in the narrow bottle-opening (I now take the cap off and apply dabs with my fingers, because I always seemed to squirt too much out of the squeeze-top).

In sum, this simple little cream has literally improved my quality of life. I hope they never stop making it (and I'm totally going to try it for the eczema I get on my neck/legs/stomach, etc., thanks to the stellar review above).

I use Retin A and well that means REALLY DRY SKIN. I've tried many things, and actually my skin has gotten pretty used to the Retin A. I don't have break out problems, and purely using Retin A for wrinkle prevention.

This really is great for dry skin. I am not too fond of the smell, but it's not overbearing or anything. I love the way it comes on smooth and I can feel that my skin absorbs this really well. I liked this so much I just purchased the oil. A little of this goes a long way as well. I'd say a dime size drop for your entire face and neck.

You know how some lotions you rub on and it seems like it's helping while it's on but then once it wears of your hands look and feel bad--this stuff is the opposite of that. You put this on and your hands look and feel better, then later when it soaks in your hands look a little better than before you used it. Keep using it and you see improvement because it is healing your skin, improving it! Not just coating it and filling in the cracks.

I know dry hands because I live in northern wisconsin and winter is painful on the hands.

I like to water it down with spring water to about half concentration as I find it too thick. Goes further and works better for me. I use it all over but mainly my hands and face.

I did not want to run out of this moisturizer so I was glad that it arrived so fast. This rose hip moisturizer feels great and it has only healthy ingredients. You do not need to use a lot. It spreads and soaks in well. I've used Aubrey for years and am very pleased. The Vitamin Shoppe sent this quickly and packaged it very nicely. Thanks!

I absolutely LOVE this moisturizer. I`m in my mid 30`s and people think I am 22 because of my skin. This is so gentle, light, soft, it is wonderful! I use it for a few days and skip a day and use it again. You only need a little bit, so the price is very good too! I do not like rose smell in cosmetics, but this has a super light fragrance that goes away really fast, so it doesn`t bother me at all. My fair skin tone is beautifully evened out, thanks to this cream.

I have used this product for over a year and love it. It keeps my skin healthy. I use only Aubrey skin care products since I've had such great luck with them. I have sensitive skin and many products make my face break out. So, I'm very happy with Aubrey.
