I've been using Aubrey's shave creme for 8 years - I travel a lot and need a compact package and an effective shave creme. This was recently reformulated and like all of Aubrey's products you get the REAL DEAL - all natural. No fillers or chemistry set preservatives here. After a straight razor shave, it leaves my razor clean and my face smooth - for what most of us consider a chore every day, I almost look forward to the routine - it's that good!

My husband has very sensitive skin. Most shaving creams irritate and cause his skin to break out. He has been using these for years and it's the only shaving cream (and aftershave) that works with his skin type.

Been a patron for Aubrey products for years. When you read the ingredient list, you don't need a degree in chemistry or a foreign language.

This relatively new product for the forty year old company, is the best I've ever used. It's strongest attribute: YOU STILL HAVE PROTECTIVE LUBRICATION ON THE 2ND AND 3RD STROKES. It's that simple.

Originally, I used it with the Sensor Excel razor, which had a battery in the handle. Closest shave I ever had. Even shaved "against the grain" and sideways. Didn't feel a thing.

Lastly, don't the price chase you away. It is highly concentrated. This small tube will last you over two months, if you apply sparingly.

This is the first review for Aubrey Organics products that is not 5-stars. We use their shampoo, conditioner, lotion, facial cleanser, deodorant, hair gel, and detangler - and all of them are absolutely the best.

The shaving gel works well, but it does burn when you apply it to your skin. And I do use products that have that "tingle" like Dr. Bronner's Peppermint, which I do enjoy. But this shaving gel burns more than it tingles.

I bought this product elsewhere, but I just have to say, it really is the real deal. It heats your face lightly as you apply. Simple rub on a thin layer and add some water to your palm as you rub it in. It will leave a silky smooth, slip-free surface to shave over. Remember to use a thin layer and rinse your razor frequently to remove build up. I've been shaving a long time and I feel comfortable recommending this to any "real" shaver out there. If you have problems getting a decent shave because the cream either gets too sticky, or it gets too slippery, and your skin doesn't "feel right" after using some of those foams and gels [mine often doesn't], definitely give this stuff a try!

I almost threw up when I tried this. It smelled so bad and I was trying to determine what it smelled like and concluded it smelled most like vomit. The other problem I had was the level of menthol. It was too strong to where my face felt like it was on fire.

I'm a big fan of Aubrey and use many of their other products, but was very disappointed when using this one. I'd send it back, but the time, effort and shipping does not justify the ~$7 credit. Yes, I got screwed - so I'm writing this in effort to save other people from getting screwed too!
