I picked up a few of these last year for some quick and easy Christmas gifts -- now that they're 50% off, I'm really tempted to pick up a few more.

PROS:

- the ladies love 'em

- watch keeps time pretty well

- comes in a really fancy case

- very sparkley

- great customer service

- affordable, especially now that it's 50% off

CONS:

- requires regular cleaning to maintain sparklieness

- **NOT WATERPROOF** (this is NOT in the manual!!)

- lacks features like stopwatch, world time, calculator, etc

- creates an akward situation when given as a 1-month aniversary gift

I picked up one of these this year after some 2006 shady episodes. Thankfully, she has now forgiven me...Kobe.

I'm not even a woman and I don't know what the hell I'm going to do with this. (Hence four, not five stars.) But I had to buy it. HOW ELSE can you possibly save an incredible $500,000?!? I am the World's smartest, most savvy shopper. I am probably going to feel good about myself every time I get it out of the safe and look at it.

Are you tired of bringing a bottle of wine or a potted amaryllis as a hostess gift? The lovely watch (really, more of a bracelet) from Audemars Piguet makes a simply marvelous hostess gift.

I've never been a huge fan of "white gold" ... for the same reasons white chocolate doesn't get me excited. They're both posers. This watch changed my perception of white gold. I still think white chocolate is lousy, but you can't please everyone.

its ok, i like my swatch better, the diamonds are too small, i prefer min 2 carat diamonds, the chinese make better watches, it gets dirty when i work on my truck

Amazon should make clearer that this is NOT an automatic watch. I mean, I only realized this after the armored car delivered it at my home a couple of days ago, and now Amazon want to charge me $75K "restocking fee" because it is not technically "defective". Any watch over $500 that not automatic is defective for me, not to mention one a thousand times more expensive. I tried selling it in the black market, but no body wants to pay over $10K for a "quartz movement". Shame on you Amazon!
