I am successfully running this program on Windows Vista Business, SP2 after installing updates and following the instructions on Bentley's support FAQ. Initially, Norton Antivirus 2009 was blocking the program, but after a quick call to Bentley's excellent support line I was able to configure everything to work.

I have not used the manual extensively yet, but was able to quickly find the first item I wanted to work on and print it out without a problem. The work instructions are quite detailed.

The whole thing is confusing. From the 'registration' process (I had to contact Bentley publishing as the key printed in the DVD didn't work) to the content itself being terrible to view and consult. I was under the impression the electronic version would make searches easier. Not only that was a disappointment but the navigation and the visualization of the electronic format were also poor to say the least. Go with the paperback version (I have one of my 2001 model and its way better).

Once you finally get this program (which is garbage) to finally run, (regardless of what their help pages tell you, shutting off your antivirus protection is the ONLY way mine would run... then renaming countless dll files on your computer which stops other programs from running, and then when you get it to the point you can actually use the manual, you find out that there are other conflicts when you go to print... hate the software, very frustrating) it is a great manual, it has lots of information and details, I just can't understand why they can't write a program that doesn't conflict with Microsoft office and other programs.
