The manual is very good. it is nice to have extra photo's.
My self like it better then the electronically manual. And more important you can use it everywhere. The CD ROM version can only be used on one PC

this was just what I needed at a very fair price, hence my title.

Having recently purchased a used 2001 TT, I did not have many of the intitial manuals, etc that explain the functionality of the car. I found this manual on Amazon.com for about $30 less than I'd seen it elsewhere and ordered it. I was expecting a used or second rate copy but I was delighted to receive a brand new copy in perfect condition. The book itself is very heavy on electrical diagnostics. It takes up a huge part of it so if you are more interested in the hardware (engine, drive train, etc) other editions may offer a little more. You won't know without comparing them so I suggest trying to find a copy at your local public library first to look at before you purchase. Because I've used Bentley manuals many times, I know their quality to be consistently at or above Hanes or Chilton and I would choose nothing less for a TT.

Though I agree that the manual has an incredible amount of information, and is very useful; I must also admit that it tends to leave out useful information necessary for the home enthusiast. Specificly it does not mention that in order to remove the front bumper cover assembly, one needs to block up the car, remove the front wheels, and remove the wheel well covers in order to reveal the two appropriate screws on each side. This may be a no brainer to someone who regularly works on these cars, but is not an obvious step for those of us who haven't.

while this Audi TT manual has a lot of clear pictures and is written so an idiot can work with it, there are blanks in the information available to really fixed your car.

If you own a Audi TT with in this year range, this manual is a must have. With all the annoying problems with these cars, if you can't make some of your own repairs it will cost you a fortune. Bentley makes the best manual other than factory.

As a new Audi owner, and someone who is looking into starting to complete their own maintenance, this book is very helpful. And i love the fact that it is hard cover. It makes it easy to read and handle while working on my car.

Every repair that would ever be needed is explained in great detail with pictures. This book will save me much time and money vs taking my car to the dealer!

If your looking for the complete version you have to buy the dvd from bentley. This book doesn't cover any of the section on the wind deflector, if you want that you have to pay bentley an additional $50. I recomend just buying the dvd for $99

If you own a MK1 TT you need to get this book , even you don't pan on doing your own work. There are many things that tend to be unique for the TT and this is a great guide for anyone doing work on your vehicle other than the dealer.

The Audi TT Service Manual provides quite a comprehensive information on the vehicle. As a DIY, I found almost all(99.9%) solutions to my problems. Whether as a DIY or an enthusiast - no hesitation, JUST BUY.
