Solid headset at a fair price,

Before owning this headset(plantronics .audio 365) I had a plantronics .audio 360(both are about the same price). The two headsets are very similar, but there are a few important differences. First this pair(.audio 365) is MUCH lighter than the .audio 360, and is far more comfortable and it does not squeeze the head like the .audio 360. However, it does not block outside sound as well as the .audio 360's did. The bass quality of the .audio 365 is better than the bass quality of the .audio 360's. For some, the bass might be a little too good, it can drown the higher notes out sometimes. My complaint about both headsets is the microphone. It isn't very receptive, and it is positioned off to the side rather than in front of your mouth. But I don't use the microphone very often, so it is not a major issue for me.
Conclusion: Good sound quality at a fair price, with a mic that leaves a little to be desired. The sound quality on the 360's and 365's are very similar, but I prefered the way the 360's sounded. The 365's are much more comfortable and do not weigh the head down.

These headphones are soft on the ears for long term wear. Easily adjustable to fit different head sizes. Doesn't put too much pressure on the head. They sound great when I play games. I have only used the mic a few times and received no complains from teammates. In-line volume control is convenient and the cord is just long enough. This is a very good headset for the price.

I just got these in the mail today. All I can say is they are awesome! I played Battlefield 2 with them today and the bombs and guns going off around me were so immersive it was fantastic! As I write this review I am listening to some songs on my iTunes that I haven't heard in awhile and they sound so good! I would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone. I just hope they hold up!I also should say that the cord on these things is really long...like 5-6 feet or something, which I really appreciate after all the 3.5' cords I've used on other headphones. I'm very happy with them. Four stars just because I don't know how long they will last. Will update! *EDIT* 4/28/11 These headphones are still going strong. No problems whatsoever. I had to add a home theater system to my tv because the tv sounded flat after using these for so long. I notice that the price has gone up since I bought them. I don't know if they are worth the extra money, depends on how expensive they get. For what I paid for them they were a good deal. *Edit* 10/11/11 Well the microphone finally died on these. I play games with other people, so have to have a mic. Came on here to shop for a new one. Microphone on these was never very good anyway and people complained that I wasn't loud enough on Teamspeak. Took one star away because they only lasted a little over a year and the mic issue.

Great gaming headset for the price,

The best headset I've ever used was easily the Plantronics 770. It was such a comfortable headset that output great sound quality, had a strong mic and was just a great all around headset. It did have one big problem, though, in that the mic wasn't sturdy and would, eventually, start drooping. It never affected my sound quality through Vent or anything, but it still was an annoyance. I stumbled upon these and gave them a go, since they have the same design as the 770. I have to say that this headset is also incredibly comfortable. Even though it looks incredible odd and isn't stylish, the way the band at the top cushions your head and is allowed to stretch as needed makes this, along with the 770, the most comfortable headset I've ever worn.
My only big complaint with this headset is similar to the one with the 770. The microphone just isn't that great. The mic on the 770 is much better, but droops. I've not had any issue with this mic getting loose, but it's far away and sometimes people tell me I sound tinny coming from it. Personally, with the 770 still being sold and only about $15 more than this one, I'd go with the 770. But for the price-conscious gamer, I still would recommend this one over many others. It isn't as comfortable as the 770, but it is still easily one of the most comfortable headsets I've used.

Nicely made for the cost,

This headset works extremely well. I'm not using it as a game headset but as a communications headset. The only issue I have is I wish the mic would come down closer to the mouth; it would help reduce the background noise it can pick up.

Nothing special,

I've been using these headphones for a few years. They've comfortable, and the sound output is pretty good, but they're definitely a low-end item. The inline volume control is of low quality--there's a loud static noise when you turn the dial, and generally only the left ear continues to output sound; only by tapping the control dial a few times can you restore sound in the right ear. The microphone has simply never been usable. I've resorted instead to using "freebie" microphones I received thrown in with other products, the kind that come with a mounting clip with an adhesive backing and no brand markings of any kind, and that these were a substantial improvement should give you a sense of just how poor this headset's microphone is. That said, given that I don't often need a microphone, the presence of an inline volume control, even a balky one, has proven so convenient that I've kept using these as headphones, warts and all. I'm finally sufficiently fed up with them that I'm looking at replacing them, probably with something by Sennheiser, but they've served me for nearly three years now, so I suppose I can't rate them too poorly. Still, be aware that these are better considered headphones than a headset, because the microphone is worthless.

I ordered two, one for me and one for my friend. This is a little small for my head even though it adjustable. But it fits perfectly fine with my friend. The mic does not work after 6 months for me, but mine friend's mic works fine. Not a bad deal considering I only pay 20$ for two. But you should be very careful with the volume if you plan to use it in the office. Others might be able to hear you.

These are a very good deal for the thirty odd dollars I paid. The sound quality is great for a headset in this price range, but after trying these I would rather buy a headset in the 45-60 dollar range. If you don't wear glasses, these are very comfortable. Right now I'm using the Sennheiser 151 that sit on my ears, and I rest my glasses on top of the phones. Overall, these are a good deal if you don't want to spend that much.

I am not really an audiophile, but I do play PC games so I do have a certain degree of standards in my headphones. For most part, it has suited my needs and delivered great sound quality.
