Factory equipment was a Sony cassette player. Decided to upgrade to
a CD player. Interesting that it can read CD-RW disks (not yet tested) and take Ipod or MP3 player input. Arrived within a few days. Needed to go to Radio Shack to get spades to crimp on the wires that came with the
new wires so that I could use the old wiring. Once that was done,
the radio and CD player worked fine and fit nicely into the Festiva
radio space. Probably should have gone with something that could
read .wma data files, but this CD player with AM-FM presets fits the bill.
Really like the blue light as well.

Great deck. It was cheap, installed easily, and had all the necessary components needed. Can;t beat it for the price you pay.

I got a car for my birthday and the radio in it was about 15 years old and didnt work. I came straight to Amazon to look for the best prices. I bought this one and it works great! The blue lights add a wonderful touch and it has really great reception. Definitley a good buy!

Bought my receiver for $50 with free shipping. For that price it was a good deal. I installed it in my girlfriends car and she likes it. The preset buttons are a little small but the sound was better than I expected.

I brought this product for my wife for a X-Mas present after her car was broken into. At 1st when she opened it she was in love great look comes with a remote. But once we had it installed we found out rather quickly we were wrong. Like i said it looks great but once we hooked it up it would not play any sound. CD was running and radio stations would show but no sound would ever play. Don't waste your time on something that doesn't work. We got charged to have it installed then charged to have it uninstalled and now we gotta send it back. I sent just as much try to get this thing to work as i did on the item its self. Bad Bad deal.

I bought this for my boyfriend and he loves it. It has very nice sound and a remote as well. It was perfect for him. It also has a place to plug in i-pod. The cd's never skip and the radio comes in clear. very nice cd player. Very happy with it.

This receiver is smaller than the one it replaced so I ordered the dash kit with it and I'm real glad I did. The instructions with the kit were not very good, but I figured out the parts I needed and the installation looks very good. I'm glad I had the wiring schematic for my vehicle. That sped up the install a bunch. The only surprise I got was the last part of the install before sliding it into the dash was hooking up the antenna lead, which is very short in my vehicle. The hole in the receiver was much larger than the one in my factory receiver and the antenna lead wouldn't stay in. I had to order an antenna adapter from Amazon (only $2.60) and then it fit very nicely.
The only thing I don't like about this receiver is there aren't any options for the clock. I would have liked to have the option of which display stayed on, the clock or the station. You push the display button and the clock comes on for a few seconds and that's it. I knew this before I bought it though, so I can't complain too much.
This baby passed all my other tests. The reception is great; the anti skip works fine on washboard roads; and the aux plug in works very nicely with my mp3 player. For the price it can't be beat.

I installed this a couple weeks ago in my PT Cruiser and it works great. Don't really need the remote control. But love the look and the sound of the system. We bought it for the Aux input on the front for our iPods and iPhone.

Very good deck for the price. Just the reception is a little iffy. If I am not in the city where the radio stations are at its hard to hear them. But puts out a lot of sound for the price.

Surprised and quite happy to see it arrive so quickly. Sounds GREAT!!! Will order from here again.
