One of my biggest gripes about the iPhone is the audio jack. I have an AUX line in on my car stereo. I use a monster cable with my iPod all the time. With the iPhone, they just had to make it sunken in so that most headphones and cables don't fit. This product was an easy and cheap solution to that. Stays in the jack good and the audio quality sounds perfect. I can't imagine it will last a long time but it was under $5 so no worries.

I bought three of these iPhone to mini converters, two worked and one was noisy. I've got another one that I bought at an airport kiosk which is much sturdier build-quality.
However, shipping was very prompt and the vendor didn't try to overbill me for S/H like another tried to do. Dave

No voices through left channel,
I purchased two of these after reading the 5 star review. I'm sorry to say that on one of them the sound is very low through the left channel. I've tried two different headphones with the same result. With the other one that I ordered you can't push the headphones all the way into the female jack or else you loose sound from the left side altogether.
I just ordered the Griffin one to see if I have better luck.
