I purchased this amp brand new when it first hit Amazon. I know some people out there tend to think that BOSS not a great "brand" name, but I will argue that this amp is made with the exact same component of some far more expensive top end gear.

As far as the amp, the metal on top is polished to a mirror finish. not too flashy, but quality. It has two internal fans pointed at the circuit board and heat sinks inside (first thing I did was crack it open and look at all the components, that is what I always do and that is also how I know what most other manufacturers use as well.) and I have it pushing 4 Kicker Solobarics in a sealed box hard enough to dent my roof.

The build is quality, and the specs seen above are correct. I got a birth certificate with the amp that rated it down to 1.25 ohm stable and I have it running 2KW per channel, 2 15's on each channel. It has never overheated, never clipped, and still has plenty of power to add more, I think.

Overall this is a quality Amp from a business I have always stood by, regardless of what some may say, and I was not disappointed. It has plenty of power, looks nice and performs like a champ under some extreme conditions. The internal fans keep it nice and cool and for a 4KW Amp it is like 2 foot long, not like some of those HUGE monsters out there, it fits under the seat in my truck.

If you are looking for value and bang for your buck, give this one a try, you WILL NOT be let down.
