When I ordered this product, I expected to receive it as advertised: Audio Lecture and Hardcover Study Guide. It arrived with only the audio CDs. When I contacted Amazon about the missing hardcover study guide, they sent a replacement shipment of the audio CDs...which I already had. No study guide. Upon contacting them again, they said there was nothing they could do except to give me a 30% discount if I keep the product or 100% if I returned it. They failed to explain why I could not get the study guide.

I have chosen to keep the audio CDs because they are FANTASTIC. With the exception of the confusion with Amazon, I would definitely recommend this. The CDs are informative and provide clear explanations of all the major points of the EMT-B course.

Due to a shipping mistake, I am still waiting on my hardcover study guide so this review is just for the Audio CDs.

I was totally impressed as I listened to the lectures. The CDs are not one guy sitting behind a microphone droning through a book. There are three gentlemen who speak with very clear voices and, while following a curriculum, they sound as if they are speaking ad-lib so it is not boring at all. This is a fantastic way to learn because you can pop the CD in while you are driving, jogging, etc. As long as you are already familiar with very *basic* medical terminology, you will have no problem keeping up with the lectures. This is a must for anyone studying to be an EMT-B!

This series of lectures is great. I'm an EMT II and was looking for something to help solidify those basic skills. This was it. The speakers cover alot of ground and go into great detail but keep it interesting. I've been an EMT for 5 years now and I still learned a lot from these guys. Great product, highly recomend it.

The guys's voice can be a bit dronish and boring but they cover some really great topics and since this is not the published word, it's a little more human and brings life to whatever book you may be using.

Excellent lectures - covers all the different sections/modules in preparation for EMT-B National Registry. Good review material.

These tapes are an excellent way to review EMT subjects. I highly recommend them.

I used many study products for NREMT test. This was by far the best in my opinion. It puts you in the mindset and they talk you through all kinds of issues. Great Great CD's.

This is an awesome addition to the brady books course for EMT-B it helps you understand through audio conversations! i put it on while im driving to work and let it just play in the background and it WORKS! i am starting to understand things more clearly and i am doing a lot better on the tests. i recommend this product to anyone going for EMT-B!

Bought this to study for taking the national test...passed!!! I liked how it was like listening to friends just discussing different subjects and not just one person reading from the book

I love this set, I am able to listen to this on my way back and forth to work. These guys are easy on the ears and make learning interesting and fun.
