5.0 out of 5 stars Life is alive and kicking- on stage, June 7, 2007

This review is from: Audio Life (Audio CD)
Life is a wonderful, multimedia and high tech sonic collage turned into an opera, the first truly contemporary one. Ryuichi Sakamoto uses a wide palette of sounds and voices (and famed tenor José Carreras as the narrator!) to bring forth all of Earth's current and future troubles into our consciousness through beautiful music pieces. To enjoy the complete experience, though, it should be listened to after watching the (Japanese import VHS) "Optical Life" video.
