Boss Performance

Each 6.5-Inch two-way handles 200 Watts of peak power (100 watts RMS). A polypropylene injection cone provides great rigidity, moisture resistance, and low distortion. A rubber surround backs it up, for years of performance without the corrosion that can affect foam surrounds. A 40 oz. magnet and one-inch, high-temperature voice coil drive things.

Taking up the high-end is a one-inch Mylar dome tweeter, for full-range sound out on the water

These speakers feature water-resistant construction, along with a protective marine-style attachable grille, so the inevitable splashes of water won't ruin your day.

2 of the 4 speakers on our boat broke. We order 2 (at about $23/each) planning to only replace the broken ones. We really wanted a matched set, but couldn't justify paying close to $100 for 4 when we really only needed 2. We were pleasantly surprised when each order was actually a pair of speakers. For under $50 we now have 4 matching speakers that look and sound great.

Absolutely no complaints.

Had two of these in my old boat. I bought four for my new boat.
Listen, they aren't the best sounding speakers but they are loud. If you are looking for quality "sound", don't buy these. If you are looking for loud, durable and cheap, this is your speaker!
Be sure to check your existing hole size...these were a little larger than my old ones and I had to re-cut the openings in the boat.

I actually bought these a few months ago. Finally, I got my boat running so I could actually test them on the water. The sound is perfect! Before buying these speakers, I looked on Amazon for a lot of products. I considered Boses, Infinitys, and JBLS. Everyone knows that all of those brands are good. I was kind of nervous about buying the cheaper speakers because I still wanted good sound on the water. I read a review on these where the author said "don't think you need to spend a lot on speakers because you don't". I bought these speakers based on that review. They are loud and sound really good. Save your money and buy these speakers. You will not be let down. They really are perfect for the lake. I bought 4 of these and installed them myself in my 84 Larson. I could hear the sound well even at full throttle on a 188 HP Mercruiser. They are running from a Sony CDXM30 which was also bought from Amazon. Great speakers, Great price. Do yourself a favor and purchase these. You will be happy. Boss is a great brand.
