Audio over IP (AoIP) increases audio broadcast options, flexibility and quality while saving on costs. It is a technology well worth researching and implementing. Steve Church and Skip Pizzi share their combined expertise in this useful reference book.
"Audio Over IP" presents information clearly. I found it easy to read for an overview or to drill down into detailed information. Well organized photos, diagrams and screen images showcase the equipment and illustrate the process. Tables comparing formats and codecs make it easier to select the best solution. I particularly like the chapters Troubleshooting and FAQs.
