Sorry --- Don't bash me
on January 28, 2013
Probably a lot of people will bash me because of my 3 stars on this... It's just my opinion and how I like my sound... I did a 50 hour burn in on the cans before writing this review.
Pros : These are the best sounding cans for the money, the bass is good, mids and highs are excellent. Superb build quality. Best sound for the money
Cons: The biggest -ve for this set is the absolute lack of soundstage or space. Everything sounds in the face and there is no separation, stereo is there but I missed the separation so much that I had to send them back, no matter how much I wanted to keep them. I plugged into the receiver to try movies, the sound signature was unacceptable for me.
These are comfortable but wants asking for a little more comfort.
These are best for Club/Dance/Electronic as the bass is excellent, for other genres your ears will be begging for more separation.
I ended up getting the ATH A900X at twice the price but love them for their accuracy and the superb sound stage. On the Bass the M50 takes the slice over 900X, but 900X is balanced and more natural sounding to me.
