I purchased 2 of the covers because they are so inexpensive and the more costly item is the shipping.

Well, it is definitely worth purchasing if you own any kind of a lapel mic. And certainly if you purchase the Olympus ME-15 Microphone Olympus ME-15 Microphone you have to purchase this because it does not come with its own windscreen cover. However, sadly,it only performs ok.

The Pluses:
Yes, it does easily slip onto lapel mics and holds onto them well. So the fit is very good, 4 stars.

The Minuses:
Sadly, it just doesn't perform as well as I had expected a mic cover to perform after using them a lot with public speaking and being on radio.

When I record audio with it, you can still hear every intake and exhale of breath. And that is the whole purpose of purchasing such a mic cover is to filter that out. So it's performance I found I would give a 3 stars to if I could vote on that separately.

Definitely, anyone who is a professional public speaker of any kind, you are going to want to stock up on these parts. Just do practice the sound test about exactly where to pin the lapel mic on you with this wind screen on it to know exactly how much heavy breathing and exhaling you're getting in your recording. You may need to adjust where you pin the label mic on yourself to further minimize the breathing sounds.

This slides right on to the Olympus ME-15 lavalier mic as if the two were designed to go together. I'm sure it will fit other lavalier mics as well.
